A percent is a numerator that is out of one hundred. ?/100
100 percent means everything 100/100 or 10/10
To find 100% you divide the denominator by 1.
example: If you have 40 apples and you want to find out 100% of those 40 apples you think. If I think of 100 as a fraction it looks like this: 100/100. But if you divide the denominator by 1 you get 100%now if you divide denominator of 40/40 by 1 you still have 40. That means that 100% of 40 is 100%.
50 percent means half or 1/2 or 50/100.
To find 50% you divide the denominator by 2.
example: If you have 40 apples and you want to find out 50% of those apples, you think. If I think of 50 as a fraction, it looks like this: 50/100. But if you divide the denominator by 2 you get 50% which is half, now if you divide the denominator of 40/40 by 2, you get 20. That means that 50% of 40 is 20%.
10 percent means 10/100 or 1/10.
To find 10% you divide the denominator by 10.

25 percent means 25/100 or 1/4.
To find 25% you divide the denominator by 4.

1 percent means 1/100.
To find 1% you divide the denominator by 100.

Explain what a sale price, discount and a total price with taxes.
A sales price is the total amount you are paying.
A discount is what you save.
A total price with taxes is when you have the sales price and you add on an extra 13% for the government.

110+ 22= 132
There was not a 30% increase because after the first 10% increase there was a new amount of caribou. So there was a new 100%.
