Dani's Percent Post

A percent is an equivalent number out of 100.

100 percent means everything or 100/100.
To find 100 percent you have to divide the numerator and denominator by 1.

50 percent means half, 50/100, or 1/2.
To find 50 percent you have to divide the numerator and denominator by 2.

25 percent means 25/100 or 1/4.
To find 25 percent you have to divide the numerator and denominator by 4

10 percent means 10/100 or divide by 10.
To find 10 percent you have to divide the numerator and denominator by 10.

1 percent means 1/100.
To find 1 percent you have to divide the numerator and denominator by 100.
